The youth department of Refuge Church Ministries is an umbrella organization. It covers a miriad of other ministries within the church that directly involve the youth. The youth department provides direction and continuity among the different youth ministries to ensure all youths a complete and well-rounded curriculum. All young people in Refuge are affored an opportunity to mature in a loving Christian environment.

Our mission is to help the youth grow into knowledgeable, obedient, and wise Christians. We want our childeren to experience the joy and peace of the abundant life, given to us through our Lord and Saviour, that is a close personal relationship with Jesus the Christ.

Because our children are not only the church of tomorrow, but are also a part of the church of today, we feel strongly about encouraging the youth to have responsibilities and duties within the church as well as sharing in the blessing that fellowship can bring. The second Sunday of each month is Youth Sunday where the youth have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the worship service.
