A health care provider is assigned to each service to provide assistance to the congregation if a member should become ill during the worship experience.
Vital signs consisting of pulse, blood pressure, respiration and temperature (oral) will be taken. If vital signs are abnormal, the
member will be referred to the nearest medical facility accompanied by a responsible person.
Cuts and bruises will be cared for by washing the wound
with soap and water. A bandage and ice pack will be applied. The member will be referred to the nearest medical facility for further evaluation
accompanied by a responsible person if needed. The health care provider on Sunday worship duty will not administer or distribute any medication.
All members of the congregation must be aware of the medications they are presently taking and what they are talking them for. All members should be
aware of any medicines, food or environmental substances they are allergic to. Members with these types of allergies should wear a Medi-Alert bracelet.
